2Corinthians 10: 3-5
Ps. Danny Pineda exhorts on strongholds and encourages us to trust God, cast down negative lies and use God's word.
What that is…
Where does it originate…
How to overcome it…

God created us to be a visual being. He created us in His own image. We are visual people. Every single part of our mind is like movie theaters. You can play what you want to every single screen in your mind. In every canvas of your mind come pictures all the time, images that come to our mind again and again and again. Now when we least expect it, often, negative image will come across our mind. We will see people disliking us, we’ll see possible accident in our family, business closing down and financial set back. All negative pictures come across our minds.

You see the enemy’s goal is to get you to listen to the channel again and again and over and over until he gets you so disenchanted that you don’t like yourself anymore. That’s his goal. Strongholds happen here. Remember, satan is a headhunter, your mind is his battlefield. Your imagination is his trophy. He wants to control your imagination.

How to overcome strongholds? 2Corinthians 10:3-5 says “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting downs imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things
Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart
2 Kings 6:15-17

Remember; don’t let your mind tell you what to think, you tell your mind what to think.

1 What is a stronghold and how do we overcome it?
2 Why do we need to build more than one channel?
3 What are the three commitments we can make? To trust God, cast down negative lies and use God’s word to tell your mind and heart what to do.
