Men - MP4

MP4 is the Men’s network of FCF Life Centre which stands for Men of Purpose, Principle, Power and Prayer. The guiding Scripture verse of this network is based on 2 Timothy 2:2 which says, “And these things which you have heard from me, in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these things to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also…”

It is composed of men from ages 18 years old and above; single or married.

This ministry is committed to building and equipping men to grow in their walk with God. It is also committed to seeing positive change taking place in their lives and becoming men after God’s own heart. This ministry is fully dedicated to seeing the purposes and plans of God being fulfilled in their life and that of their family.

Regular corporate fellowship meetings are held every other month, usually on the last Sunday, 1:30pm at the FCF main Sanctuary. Separate small group meetings are held once a month outside the Church.

Seasonal sports and outdoor activities for the purpose of bonding and camaraderie are also part of the Men's activities.  If you wish to join the MP4, please feel free to come and we’re very happy to have you with us. Contact Roy Vergara ( 0420225307).

Missions

Missions

FCF Life Centre sends teams of youth and adults to do medical and evangelistic mission in various areas in the Philippines. Many of those who go to missions grow in terms of awareness of the world around them, in showing mercy and compassion, patience and perseverance, in ministry skills and sharing the love of God to people.

FCF Life Centre, not only sends teams to do missions work but also supports Foursquare churches in Papua New Guinea and the Philippines on a monthly basis.

Community Service

Community Service

FCF Life Centre is partnering with Christ Mission Possible to reach out to the Doonside community, and what a night it was! Word had spread with people bringing their neighbours and friends ... but we were prepared with even more bags of groceries!

So many smiles, so many new friends and connections. Praise the Lord for being able to be God's hands and feet to those around us! ‪#‎FCFHope‬ ‪#‎FCFHarvest2015‬ ‪#‎communityservice‬

FCF Life Centre serves the community doing quarterly or as necessary, clean-up, repairs and maintenance of a local public school or other specified places. Other acts of kindness performed include neighbourhood lawn mowing, help for new Filipino migrants, and other needs of individuals or organisations in the community.

Every last Friday of the month, we support NADO (Nepean Area Disabilities Org) with some material needs and in giving company to special people, teaching craft, singing songs and providing some snacks. We support and help NADO's Fund raising activities.

Hospital

FCF Life Centre participates in Mt Druitt Hospital Sunday ministry by sending leaders and members to lead a service and preach the word. Also, ministry is extended to Nursing homes around the area at Christmas time where the choir sings and distribute gifts.

Charities

We respond quickly to appeals of help or aid for countries like the Philippines devastated by calamities. Aids – monetary and in kind are collected to be sent abroad. Also supports Heart Foundation, Children's Hospital, Rotary and Lion's Clubs, Guide Dogs Association.

Compassion

Many families in the church are sponsors of Compassion children in the Philippines. The support is channeled through a Foursquare Church in Sta. Mesa, Manila which is able to reach out to parents of children they care for as part of the Compassion program.

GAWAD KALINGA

FCF supports the housing project for the poor in the Philippines and to date has so far released 3 houses to families in Bulaklakan Village in QC. It is an ongoing project and we plan to help build more houses within GK

Prayer Ministry

Prayer is one of FCF Life Centre's core values. We believe that steadfast prayer and faithful intercession allow us to enter a partnership with God to gain fruitfulness personally and congregationally in life, service and ministry.

The Prayer Ministry here is active, vibrant and is conducted weekly:

Intercessory meeting (both Men and Women) -  Tuesdays @ 7:30 pm,

Prayer rally
(with teachings on aspects of praying)
- Wednesdays @ 7:30pm

Prayer circles
in the middle of our Sunday services where 3 to 4 people hold hands in a circle to pray for each others' needs and minister one to another. Takes around 15 minutes.

Prayer is one of important features during Home care/Bible study meetings held in homes in different areas in Sydney

Youth

The heartbeat of YD (Youth with a destiny) is to REACH the young generation by REVEALING the love of God, help RENEW their lives, REALISE their purpose, and RELEASE them in their God-given destiny. In the past few years, we have been blessed seeing the youth grow in love for God and His word - they regularly read their Bible and write their SOAP. Our youth is vibrant and eager to reach their friends, inviting them to their meetings, as a result they have also increased in numbers.

Our youth encourages people to release their God-given talents in songs, dance, arts, design and multi-media. The church as a whole benefit therefore from their inputs.

Meetings of the youth are held in the church compound. The youth department consists of the following groups:

  •  YD RELIVE Junior High (Years 6-9) - 7:00 pm Friday
  •  YD ENGAGE Senior High (Years 10-12) - 7:00 pm Friday
  •  YD LIFE Young Adults (Ages 18-25) - 7:30 pm Tuesday

The guiding word for the youth is based on Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

Homecare

A Home Care meeting is a gathering of believers in a home setting, living out the pattern established in the early New Testament church where 'they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers (Acts 2:42). So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house... (Acts 2:46).

We believe that the Sunday worship service (when the whole congregation gathers in celebration of the love of Christ) has to be augmented by seasons of discipleship through the nourishing life in a small group that meets regularly. A home care group consisting of between six and twelve adults meets in a home setting for Bible Study, discussion of past Sunday's sermons, fellowship and prayers. This is where vital church life is forged and close friendships are nurtured.

There are more than twenty Home care groups, meeting on Friday and Saturday evenings, and Sunday afternoons led by trained men and women who undergo regular training sessions with the Senior Pastor. The Homecare meetings are held in different suburbs in Western and Southern Sydney.

If you wish to join any one of the homecare groups, please contact us and we will direct you to the one that is near you.

Kids Life

Welcome to KIDS LIFE.

FCF Life Centre believes in purposeful parenthood and therefore it is our aim to partner with parents to teach our children about (1) God's greatness, (2) His word (3) to trust and (4) to obey God - Psalms 78. These four things will help them go through life.

Children of all ages worship together with their parents, and they stay in the church hall for the first part of the service. At an appropriate juncture of the service, children 3 to 12 years old move to the Growth Centre, an adjacent facility for their own separate activities which include Bible stories, drawing, picture coloring, singing games and many more.

They are supervised and taught by volunteers trained in children ministry. At the end of the church service, the children rejoin their parents.

A facility is provided for nursing mothers who require to feed and change their young ones. This room is furnished with a TV connected to the service so that mothers will not miss anything from the proceedings in the church. Also, a Toddlers room is provided for children 1.5 years to 3 years old.

Seniors

SENIORS' fellowship

Senior adults (60 + years old) gather in church weekly on Saturday afternoons from two to four-thirty. They worship the Lord, exchange praiseful personal and family stories, study biblical lessons, and share refreshments before the close of meeting. The Seniors are exceptionally faithful in attendance, and they cherish their times together.

Occasionally, their ministry leader would organize for them to go on a picnic, an excursion to visit a place of mutual interest, or to call on another Senior who has been absent due to extended illness.
